Returns:: International Doll Company has a general return policy, widely used by other businesses. You will have 30 days from the date of purchase to return an item for a refund, at you expense. All refunds are made through PayPal's "refund item" feature. A 2.9% service fee, plus a .30 cent transaction fee may be deducted. Shipping charges will not be refunded. Please keep in mind that a refund will only be given when the item being returned is in pristine condition. That means it will be perfect, in its original packaging, and with all tags still attached. If the item shows signs of wear, the return will not be accepted. Packaging must be intact. All items you wish to return will be at your own expense. E-mail me prior to shipping your return and include your name, address, and type of item.
Payment Options::
*Personal Check: Payment by personal check will require a minimum of 10 business days to clear once it has been deposited. Use the handy order form on this site, or e-mail me a note. Once your check clears, your order will be shipped. This method is the slowest form of processing, which can take up to 3 weeks.
*Money Order or Bank Check: This form of payment is treated like cash. Again, you may use our site's order form, or send us an e-mail request. Your order will be processed once it is received.
*Credit Card/Instant Transfer (PayPal): You may pay by credit through PayPal, even without becoming a registered member. Their state of the art encryption (SSL) is the most advanced in the industry. . . providing security when you make a purchase. Once you place your order, I will receive a "Notification Of Payment" from PayPal showing your name, shipping address, and order items. I do not receive access to private information, such as your credit card number. I will only know whether you made a cash transfer or paid by credit, that is all. I cannot charge your credit cards directly. I will then send you a "Confirmation of Order", so that you know your order was received. I generally check my e-mails 3 times per week for orders. On rare occasions, e-mails "bounce", and I trace your order from my PayPal History log. I check for these on a weekly basis. Once I receive the notification from PayPal, your order will generally be processed within 48 business hours. Please order well in advance of your event (i.e. birthday, shower, adoption, etc) as we have no control over the post office, holiday rushes, or e-mail efficiency. I use USPS "Priority Mail" with confirmation delivery to track the shipment. Please contact me by e-mail should you want the tracking number. In all, this method of payment takes approximately 1 week, give or take, depending on your location and other factors. If you are in a hurry to receive your order, place a phone call to me to make arrangements. My phone number will be published within your purchase confirmation from PayPal.
Shipping: We have been successfully using USPS "Priority Mail" with delivery confirmation. Each order can be tracked on-line using its special tracking number. Please request yours by e-mail if you want to watch your shipment's progress. Your shipment will arrive within 1 to 3 days once it's processed. USPS does not guarantee these time frames.
Please inform me if you have a deadline for arrival of your shipment, and I will try to accelerate the processing. If you would want guaranteed overnight delivery, the cost would rise considerably. I would invoice the cost difference to you through PayPal, and you would need to process the charges before I would ship. I work with these situations on an individual basis.
International Orders:: We now accept orders outside of the United States in Canadian or U.S. Dollars. You may order directly through PayPal on this site. Shipping does not fall within the regular costs listed and will be quoted on an individual basis as determined by your address. Order on-line in the usual way, and I will follow-up with the additional amount required in the form of an invoice. Generally, international orders will be charged an additional flat fee of $25.00, except Canadian, which costs less. Shipping overseas will include insurance and/or a tracking number in most cases.
